This was the scene Lorna came across yesterday when she got off the F train at Fort Hamilton Parkway. Is this what it’s always like after heavy rains? Because this will continue to be a problem–we’ve already surpassed the average March rainfall, with more in the forecast for Wednesday.

      Yep, this is what it always looks like after a heavy rain. During rush hour (back in the good ol’ days when you could take the F to Manhattan from FHP) there is usually a steady stream of people jumping up on the ledge and hanging on to the fence as they shuffle along to dry land.

      See that railing on the barrier? You can walk on that little bit of flat barrier on the top. Its not too bad if you have good balance, or don’t wear heeled shoes.
