New Tree Planted on Webster

It seems a little cold for this kind of planting, but neighbor Louise Bruce from Compost for Brooklyn noticed a tree going in the sidewalk on Webster Avenue, replacing one that had gone down this summer during Hurricane Irene.

Maybe someone who took the C4B street tree guard clinic can build one to protect this new guy?

      Plenty warm for the tree. Roots will grow. The asphalt and concrete keep that soil real warm. Hopefully it rains.
